Way to go Bear River!
This cake was HUGE. It was for my nephew's football team who just ended the season a few weeks ago. Half was chocolate cake, filled with chocolate cream chocolate chip filling and the other half was vanilla with a berry cream filling. The whole cake was frosted with vanilla buttercream. I also made fondant football helmets for each boy with their number on it and a cake football dipped in chocolate for the coaches. This was fun to make!

Oh how sweet it is...
My younger sister's birthday is tomorrow and she will be in class at college all day, so she asked if I would make her some treats to share with her classmates. There are mini chocolate cupcakes filled with whipping cream and topped with peanut butter buttercream, marbled carmel chocolate bars, and (my first attempt at) chocolate and cream cheese whoopie pies. I made sure to sample them first, before I delivered her the box. Wouldn't want all those college kids getting sick :)

Happy Birthday!
Another birthday - one of my best friends in the world did the same awful thing I recently did and turned 30. Her cake was a 6" round lemon cake with creamy lemon filling and the bottom was an 8" square angel food cake with raspberry cream cheese buttercream. They said it was delish! Happy Birthday Ginger!
